When using a pet hair shaver, there may be situations where the hair gets caught, but this is not necessarily the case and is closely related to factors such as the quality, design, usage, and pet hair characteristics of the shaver.
If the quality of the shaver blade is poor, or the motor power or speed is insufficient, it may cause hair pinching due to insufficient power. For example, some low-quality products are prone to stuttering when handling thick or tough hair due to defects in blade material or motor performance. Some users have reported that some models still experience hair pinching due to insufficient power output after being fitted with the upper limit comb.
Design flaws can also lead to hair clipping issues. If the gap design of the blade head is unreasonable, or the fit between the limit comb and the blade head is poor, hair may be stuck between the blades. In addition, shavers lacking anti pinch protection mechanisms are unable to automatically adjust power output when encountering hair entanglement, which can also lead to hair pinch.
Improper user operation may also cause hair pinching. For example, not selecting a suitable limit comb based on the type of pet hair, or not regularly cleaning the accumulated hair on the blade, can increase the risk of hair entrapment. If the pet's hair is too thick or tangled, using a shaver without pre combing may also cause the hair to get caught.
